One child can change the world
On Christmas morning the King of all kings was born.
He reigns forevermore.
Let us us worship and adore Him, Christ the Lord.
May your Christmas and the new year ahead be filled with peace, joy, and the warmth of the Christ Child.
Love,
Luann

The spirit of Christmas is strong and steady at Bridges. Each class celebrates in their own way, but when it comes to Santa-they all feel the same. We can’t wait ! Read all about what’s happening in our December Newsletter and don’t forget “Santa is watching you!”
Our children are very excited to dress up and show off their costumes. Take a moment and read the schedule of dates and times for our annual Halloween Parade.

It’s time for scarecrows, pumpkins, and all kinds of surprises. Please read this October Newsletter for all the upcoming events.
We had a wonderful start to a new school year.
Our halls were a combination of smiles, tears, excited chatter and frightened silence. We welcomed back old friends and made new ones. One of last year’s graduates returned to see his brother begin Pre-k. As he was eating an apple, he lost his lower front tooth. Braeden is our first alumnus to do this. You can see how proud he is of this achievement.
Rumor has it the Tooth Fairy visited and left him “ten of those one things” under his pillow.
A great big thank you goes to all our families who made the start of this year so special. It is never easy to leave your children, especially when they are asking you not to. It takes strength to do for your child what you know is best, even if it doesn’t seem that way at the time.
We are honored to have earned your trust and feel blessed to be a part of your school family.
We had some lofty goals for week one. Proud to report that by its end, there were smiles and giggles all around… Mission accomplished.
Looking forward to week two. There may still be a few holdouts, but I believe it will be an easy win. With our staff, we can’t lose.
Bridges Nursery School now has a facebook page. This is an added way of keeping our families informed. Hope you love it!

As our school year draws to a close, I find much to be thankful for.
I am blessed to work with a staff that is as different as they are alike. Each has strengths and skills to share. When they link their individual talents together, they are invincible. They are an essential piece of our school and I can’t imagine Bridges without them.
Another great big thank you goes out to all of our families for lending us your children for a little while.
They are the fabric of our school and I enjoy seeing them each week. Some will be returning in September. Others cross that bridge that leads them to new experiences in other schools. Without these bridges, the best built roads (our school) would lead nowhere. The foundations so carefully constructed would have nothing to support. We built Bridges, and you made the connection. Together we have achieved success. I am proud to have shared this school year with you.
Have A Wonderful Summer!
Love,
Luann
read morePlease note the change in schedule for Field Day. The Tues./Thurs. Pre-K and Kindergarten are rescheduled for Thursday, May 21st. The Mon./Wed./Fri./ students are rescheduled for Friday, May 22nd. These changes are due to inclement weather predictions. If the weather is uncooperative on Thursday and Friday, we will move Field Day in the gym and have it anyway. Dress comfortably and wear sneakers that tie. Sandals, flip flops, and slip ons sneakers can be dangerous.

Sorry guys, the kindergarten is just too talented to beat. Better luck next time! While the kindergarten was busy beating their dads at tee ball, the rest of the students were inside enjoying face painting, tattoos and arts and crafts. Much thanks to Supreme Inflatables for making our night so special. Their staff did a great job. (You can visit them at www.supremeinflatables.com) We ended the evening by watching Amazing Dave dazzle us with his magic and his jokes. We all had a great time. To see just how much fun we had, check out the pictures in the Gallery.
This week, we honor our moms at the Mother’s Day teas. See you there!

January 2012 Newsletter
Usually, we spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done and cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives… not looking for flaws, but for all the good we’ve done and [...]
